Members Code of Ethics
Preamble
The Members of Brokers Network Group are professionals who pledge to abide by the Code of Ethics.
Every Member has voluntarily agreed to abide by this Code of Ethics, which assures the highest levels of professional conduct and protection to their clients. Members are subject to disciplinary action, sanctions and expulsion if they violate the duties imposed by this Code of Ethics.
This fourteen article, Code of Ethics assures you are dealing with a professional who has your best interest at heart!
Article One: Members of Brokers Network Group protect and promote their clients’ interest while treating all parties honestly.
Article Two: Members agree to refrain from exaggeration, misrepresentation or concealment of pertinent facts related to any transactions.
Article Three: Members of the Brokers Network Group cooperate with other professionals to advance their clients’ best interests.
Article Four: Members of Brokers Network Group do not provide professional services where they have present or contemplated interest in business, property or transaction without first disclosing that interest to all affected parties.
Article Five: Members of Brokers Network Group disclose any fee or financial benefit they may receive from recommending related products or services.
Article Six: Members of Brokers Network Group may receive compensation from only one party, except where they make full prior disclosure and receive informed written consent from their client before proceeding.
Article Seven: Members of Brokers Network Group keep entrusted funds of client and customers in a separate trust or escrow account.
Article Eight: Members of Brokers Network Group make sure that contract details are spelled out in writing and that all parties receive copies.
Article Nine: Members of Brokers Network Group give equal professional service to all clients and customers irrespective of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, national origin.
Article Ten: Members of Brokers Network Group are knowledgeable and competent in the fields of practice in which they engage, get assistance from a knowledgeable professional, or disclose any lack of expertise to their client prior to commencing the engagement.
Article Eleven: Members of Brokers Network Group do not engage in the unauthorized practice of law or any other practice requiring licensing or certification unless so-qualified.
Article Twelve: Members make only truthful, objective comments about other professionals.
Article Thirteen: Members of Brokers Network Group respect and reinforce the exclusive, professional relationships that other professionals have with their clients.
Article Fourteen: Members of Brokers Network Group favor alternate dispute resolution methods for resolving disagreements with their clients and other professionals.
